Zero Suicide Academy fees, materials, and lunch will be provided by the sponsor. All other costs, such as travel and lodging, are not included and must be covered by participating organizations.
Eligibility is limited to systems within the South Carolina Department of Mental Health. Applicants must come with a team of 3 to 4 individuals. Teams must include the Center Director and your designated Zero Suicide Coordinator from your center as well as the person(s) responsible for implementation decisions.
- Please review prior to the academy Zero Suicide model into care as outlined in the www.zerosuicide.com toolkit.
- Demonstrated commitment to collaboration among team members.
- The incorporation of persons with lived experience in leadership and planning roles.
Application materials should be submitted via the Zero Suicide Institute website by March 20th, 2019 at 5:00 pm EST. You will be notified via email by March 27th, 2019 about your application status. *Application deadline has been extended until April 3rd, 2019 at 5:00 pm EST.
